Aquatic area on the Ile d’Oléron
Camping des Sables Vignier boasts a beautiful 200m² swimming pool, open from May to the end of September from 10am to 7pm, and until 8pm in July and August as soon as the outside temperature reaches 17°C day and night.
Some evenings, we leave it open until 10pm with a little music, which is delicious. In summer, twice-weekly morning aquagym classes or water games for children are organized under the supervision of a lifeguard (see entertainment program at reception). And this year, we’re also offering aquabike classes!
The pool is protected when the weather is grey. Every day, we bathe here in a calm atmosphere that respects everyone’s peace and quiet.
A handrail ensures safe descent into the water.
The pool is equipped with a J.O.B. wheelchair for disabled guests.
The campsite swimming pool on the Ile d’Oléron (reception) is under the watchful eye of lifeguards during the season, but swimming activities for young and old alike remain the sole responsibility of their parents.
Unaccompanied children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the pool.
For reasons of hygiene, swimming trunks are not allowed, and for technical reasons, tanning oil and milking grease are not allowed (clogging of pool filters).
Summer water activities at the campsite
Various water activities are organized at the campsite, some in the pool such as aquabike, aquagym or aqua-relaxation, others in the sea such as paddle.
Paddle outings are organized in small groups under the supervision of a qualified instructor. This activity offers a unique opportunity for the whole family to discover the marine environment, while testing everyone’s sense of balance (laughter guaranteed).
Campsite with indoor pool on the Ile d’Oléron
Ideal for early- and late-season holidaymakers, as well as for those gloomy summer days, our large covered pool offers everyone the chance to swim, whatever the outside temperature. A shower won’t spoil your afternoon at the pool!
Deckchairs by the pool make the most of our indoor pool. When the weather’s fine, the pool can be fully or partially uncovered: the ideal way to adapt precisely to the day’s weather and always provide you with the best possible comfort!
